Dendrobium Sonia 'Red'

A large and impressive Dendrobium hybrid, it has dissapeared from the market.  What I see in stores now is plants that have similarly colored flowers but are smaller in all their parts.  Part of the trend toward growers producing smaller versions of familiar plants.  Perhaps because more can be shipped and marketed in the space that would hold only a few of these big plants.
