Rhyncatdendrum Siempre Tú (Rhyncholaeliocattleya Ranger Six x Epidendrum ciliare)
I saw this orchid in the April 10 meeting of the AOS judges in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The ancestry of this plant is interesting, it is a cross of a white complex Cattleya hybrid with Epidendrum ciliare. I don't see many of these speculative crosses in shows. In an odd note, the stem with flowers was growing through a hole in a milk crate. It could not be removed from the crate without breaking the crate or the flowers. So the crate was included in the photo for lack of something to cover it with.
